Great Baton, very happy with purchase. Wears easily on belt. 21 inches means being able to stand further back from any assailant. Excellent flashlight, very bright and helpful in dark areas. Living in a state with water everywhere, the extra feature of window breaker gives extra piece of mind. The instructions say to close it by pushing the top to the side which causes it to not close properly. Instead hit it straight on on a hard surface. causes some wear at the tip but no real damage. All batons have this feature. They need to lock into place to be useable. Know the laws in your area and where it's legal to use a baton on a persons body before use.
